Best Sportsbook in New Jersey for 2026

Ranked comparison of FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, and Fanatics for NJ bettors. Bonuses, line quality, and which book to use for what.

New Jersey has the deepest sportsbook market in the country. Every major U.S. book is licensed and competing for your first deposit, which is good for you and bad for them. The question is not whether to sign up. It is which book to sign up with first, second, and third, and what each one is actually best at.

This guide ranks the five major sportsbooks for NJ bettors in 2026 based on line quality, app reliability, promotions, withdrawal speed, and where each book is genuinely the best choice for a given type of bet.

Quick verdict

If you only sign up with one book, make it FanDuel. They post the sharpest NFL and NBA lines and pay out fast through PayPal. If you sign up with two, add DraftKings for the deeper prop menu and best same-game parlay product. Caesars is the best third book if you grind rewards, since Tier Credits cross over to MGM and Caesars Vegas properties.

1. FanDuel — best overall for NJ

FanDuel posts numbers in line with offshore sharps in NFL and NBA. Their same-game parlay product is tied with DraftKings as the best in the market. Withdrawals through PayPal land in 24 to 48 hours, which is the fastest in the industry.

Current welcome offer: Bet $5, get $200 in bonus bets, plus $100 off NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube.

The downside is limits. If you win consistently they will cut your max bet to single dollar amounts. That is the cost of getting the sharpest lines in the country, and it is a real cost if you plan to scale up.

Use it for: NFL and NBA sides and totals, same-game parlays, fast withdrawals.

2. DraftKings — best for props and parlays

DraftKings has the deepest player prop menu in the U.S. and the best same-game parlay product alongside FanDuel. The mobile app is fast and reliable, and DK Crowns is the most useful loyalty program of the major books for recreational bettors.

Current welcome offer: Bet $5, get $200 in bonus bets instantly, plus a $300 deposit match.

Hold on player props can run 8 to 10 percent, which is high. Use DK for the props that are not available elsewhere. Shop your sides and totals at FanDuel first.

Use it for: player props, same-game parlays, weekly DK Crowns rewards.

3. BetMGM — best for Vegas travelers

BetMGM links sportsbook play to MGM Rewards Tier Credits, which you can burn at any MGM property. If you visit Vegas more than once a year, the rewards earning is a real edge that no other book offers.

Current welcome offer: First-bet offer up to $1,500. If your first wager loses, you get it back as bonus bets.

The mobile app crashes more than the leaders and withdrawals are slower. The book is best for live betting, daily odds boosts that are sometimes legitimately positive expected value, and Tier Credit accumulation.

Use it for: live betting, MGM Rewards earning, NFL and NHL parlays with daily boosts.

4. Caesars — best for promos and rewards

Caesars Rewards Tier Credits cross over to all Caesars properties. The profit boost tokens are the best in the industry and the parlay insurance promos are usable most weeks.

Current welcome offer: Up to $1,000 first-bet on Caesars. Lose your first wager and get a bonus-bet refund up to $1,000.

The app feels dated and live betting lags FanDuel and DraftKings. Use Caesars for the boosts and rewards, not for sharp action.

Use it for: profit boost tokens, parlay insurance, Tier Credit grinding.

5. Fanatics — best for NFL props and merch credit

Fanatics is the newest of the five and that is the angle. New books usually have softer prop pricing for the first 12 to 18 months. FanCash rewards convert one to one with Fanatics merchandise, which is real value if you buy jerseys or hats.

Current welcome offer: Bet $5, get $50 in bonus bets daily for 10 days, plus FanCash that converts one to one with merchandise.

Live betting is still developing and customer service is uneven. The play is to use Fanatics for NFL props that have not been picked clean by sharps yet.

Use it for: NFL props, FanCash rewards if you already buy fan merch.

Bonus comparison

| Book | Welcome offer | Best for | | --- | --- | --- | | FanDuel | Bet $5 get $200 + Sunday Ticket discount | Sharpest NFL/NBA lines | | DraftKings | Bet $5 get $200 + $300 deposit match | Props and SGPs | | BetMGM | Up to $1,500 first-bet refund | MGM Rewards | | Caesars | Up to $1,000 first-bet refund | Boosts and rewards | | Fanatics | $50 bonus bets daily for 10 days + FanCash | NFL props and merch |

What NJ bettors should know

You must be 21 or older and physically located in New Jersey to bet. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement regulates the market. Geofencing uses GPS, so a VPN does not work. If you have an account in another state, you can deposit from anywhere but you must be in NJ when you place wagers.

The smart play in NJ is to open accounts at three to four books, use the welcome offers, and then settle into the one or two that fit your style. Line shopping across two books pays for itself within a couple of months.
